You can get involved in your neighbourhood by helping with a litter pick, leaf clearing, or clean up. Barnsley Council’s ward alliances and area councils have arranged a range of events across the borough as part of the Great British Spring Clean and all equipment will be provided. Feeling inspired?
If you’d like to get started as a litter picker in your local area, Barnsley Council’s area teams can provide you with purple bags and equipment. You can also request for filled bags to be collected once you’ve collected litter. Click here to read more about getting started as a litter picker.
